Yogazebo

“The inspiration of Yogazebo was karma-based – to give back and
provide a space to the community in a way that welcomes everyone
on a suggested donation basis. It traces yoga back to its authentic
roots of being personalized and community-based.” Jules

A Sanctuary to Surrender
J Living invites one and all to Yogazebo, a sanctuary where you can trust and surrender.

Situated next to a pond amidst 10 acres of land overlooking endless fields, this 750-square-foot gazebo and year-round community space and retreat likens to a church with stained-glass windows. In the spring and summer months, feel the sun’s warmth and gentle breezes, and in the fall and winter months appreciate a warm stove-heat experience.

Walk in the door, and feel our kind, family approach, where we personally welcome you and get to know you. Our spacious and intimate Yogazebo comfortably accommodates up to 30 people, depending on the event.

Group Work and Workshops for Your Growth
J Living’s Yogazebo enables group work and support from like-minded people on a similar journey to improve themselves through life. We liken it to the difference between one tulip and a bed of tulips -- beauty grows in group energy.

Classes:

Weekly on Mondays 6:15pm Ashtanga Yoga w/Jules (approx 1.5hr in length)

In order to attend this class the student must be familiar with and willing to commit to practicing the Ashtanga vinyasa yoga system. Some weeks we practice entire primary series flow others week short form. Student must have open mind and willing to go with the flow on a moment to moment basis. Students leave their egos outside the door before entering this class. It's beautiful!

Weekly on Thursdays 7pm Gentle to Basic Yoga w/Jules ( approximately 1.5 hours in length)

This class truly touches the roots of yoga by embracing a well rounded taste of the traditional teachings dated back from centuries ago up to the modern pieces that have been adapted into current practices. To include: breath work, poses, chanting and meditating. Its a quiet and relaxing class for everyone. Some weeks we move a bit more, challenging the body and mind, others weeks we may practice being very still. All that is required to attend is an open mind and heart.

*If student has any physcial or mental limitations it may be required to meet for private sessions before or while attending this class.

Classes and most onsite workshops are by donation only

Donation classes and workshops:

What exactly does "By Donation only" mean?

This is a very common question many students hesitate to ask or feel uncomfortable when they do. Once the student gets used to the concept of karma yoga they embrace it.

What is Karma Yoga?

Selfless service and selfless action

What is the suggested donation for a group class?

On average a student may donate $0 to $7 up to $20. Its sincerely up to what ever the student feels comfortable with. Some weeks you may have leave your wallet at home with intentions on donating. The beauty of karma is about you being ok with that and accepting it with joy. There will be times in oneslife that they feel more abundently capable of donating and at other times dont feel comfortable giving monetarily. There are other ways to donate: such as a smile,a hug, a kind word, a flower, or card for examples. The greatest donation of all is by simply attending with an open heart and mind and with honor and respect.

What is the suggested donation for most onsite workshops?

On average a student may donate $0 to $20 to $50. Workshop preparation is often more involved for the teacher during preparation and presentation; in additon workshops are often longer in length, therefore the students may feel more compelled to give more, but again same above concept applies.
